Kim Lewis brings us on a wonderful learning journey with Jhay’s Learning Adventure: A World of Colors! Jhay hops in his hot air balloon and travels the world, encountering a series of colorful characters along the way. Lewis did a fantastic job blending colorful pictures, writing packed with good sight words, and interactive moments that encourage bonding with whoever you’re reading with. I really enjoyed how there was more of a story to this, with Jhay going on an adventure and interacting with characters that show off each color (red ant, etc) versus many books that just list objects from that color. If you’re looking for a fun learning and reading opportunity with younger kiddos, definitely grab your hot air balloon and come on Jhay’s Learning Adventure!
