The Secret Pact

Glen Carty

Glen Carty casts us into a brewing war with The Secret Pact!  It’s 1743 and Jamaica has recently concluded the First Maroon War, but within the British Empire things are hardly ever peaceful.  And when Willow discovers an ancient relic, tensions on the island nation begin to boil back into war.  Carty masterfully crafts the scene of post-war Jamaica and the tension between the locals and the British.  This tension only builds with a healthy dose of intrigue as betrayal seems to lurk around every corner.  I love history, and Carty truly brought this period to life with gripping description and a plot that drew me in right from the start.  If you love historical fiction that reads more like a spy thriller, definitely come rebel with The Secret Pact!
