Monologues for Kids and Tweens II

Mike Kimmel

Mike Kimmel, of the Tonight Show fame, brings us a wonderfully diverse collection of monologues with Monologues for Kids and Tweens II!  Kimmel is no stranger to acting and producing, and his expertise shows in this wonderful tool for anyone looking to audition (or use this in a school setting).  I loved how most the monologues came with a positive message or something to make you think (which I think would make any performance memorable to a director or audience)!  With over one hundred monologues, we get treated to everything from comedy to drama, and each piece is designed to play for all types of people, additionally requiring no props or costumes.  But the thing I walk away with most from Kimmel’s work is how these acting pieces are just fun.  This is a really fun read and a perfect tool for any kid looking to act or any teacher looking to spruce up the classroom reading experience, so definitely come check out Monologues for Kids and Tweens II!
