A.C. Hamilton gives us a wealth of skills and teaches how to become an amazing writer with the help of Artificial Intelligence tools with the wonderfully comprehensive guide The Revolutionary Author! As an author, I’ve actually been utilizing some of these AI tools for sometime, so it came as a nice surprise to discover just how knowledgeable and useful Hamilton’s guide was! Hamilton shows how to use cutting edge AI to enhance your writing in an easy to unpack way that makes it accessible, even for someone as backward in technology as myself. The guide has a larger focus on ChatGPT (which is very useful), but it also covers several other great tools like Midjourney. It was very easy to read as everything was placed in nicely chunked sections with bullet points, pictures, and some great quotes that get the points across. It was really cool seeing Hamilton’s examples of how to use AI at various levels in crafting fiction, nonfiction, and even just worldbuilding! No matter what, AI is going to change the field of writing forever, a similar landscape shift as when the ebook was introduced. This is why I’m so impressed with Hamilton’s guide and hope that more people get a chance to see it as we move further into an AI future.
