Jennifer Lafferty brings us an intriguing behind the scenes look at the making of Alfred Hitchcock’s romantic thriller classic with Rebecca: The Making of a Hollywood Classic! The road to love aught never be smooth as they say, so apparently should be the making of a movie thriller about love. We see the struggles, triumphs, and unorthodox methods that all went into making a timeless film. Lafferty perfectly captures the tension and drama between cast and crew, as well as the interesting methods used to create the film. I really enjoy Lafferty’s storytelling, setting the scene on historic events in a way that feels lively and interesting, while still being informative and anchored to the facts. As a young filmmaker myself, I really enjoyed this look at a piece of cinema history.
