91 Day Sanction Review

91 Day Sanction

George Veck

George Veck brings us a gripping drama wrapped around the housing crisis with 91 Day Sanction!  James Burgess is an overzealous work coach completely fixated on cutting costs in the corporate world.  Many of these corporate ‘cuts’ end up at a homeless shelter managed by Denise Groves, a dedicated advocate who is fighting the endless tide of a crumbling system.  Veck does a fantastic job capturing the lives of these two drastically different characters in a way that makes them the focus in this very gripping drama while also highlighting the greater struggle of the housing crisis in North Wales.  It’s this very human approach that makes Veck’s writing so compelling, and the punches are not pulled as they hit you right in the heart.  If you’re looking for a compelling character-focused drama that takes a hard look at the multiple faces of the housing crisis, come shed a few tears with 91 Day Sanction!
