Jim Vincent throws us into the midst of an undercover thriller filled with danger and corrupt corporations with The Seahawk Consignment! Tara Heddle-Massenet is something of a second rate journalist working on mind-numbing assignments. But when she stumbles on a seedy arms smuggling deal with a corrupt corporation in London, she finds that the journey to release a meaningful story is often one wrought with danger. I love all the intrigue Vincent throws into this one and especially that growing sense of tension as Tara starts to pull back the veil of the company’s no good dealings! This was a really fun thriller with plenty of ‘ah!’ moments, only amplified by the fact that Tara was a fun and sympathetic character. In a way, I was pleasantly reminded of The Firm with a bit more action mixed in. If you’re looking for a good corporate conspiracy thriller, definitely come take up arms with The Seahawk Consignment!
