John Sauer brings us back to a really unique post apocalyptic world where Native American spirituality and gods collide with The Divided Man Book Two! Following up from the incredible first edition, Luke Kimball must rush to find the god Manitou before his soul is forever lost. But dark forces are also gathering as the cannibal Brother Jed pulls on the power of Wendigo to stop him. I loved Sauer’s first book with its fresh take on the apocalypse blended with Native American spirituality, and the second book somehow manages to top the first! It’s fast-paced with great lore, worldbuilding, and creatures, but the action is balanced really well with depth as Luke dives back into his past to complete the Ghost Dance. If you love mythology and apocalyptic novels with plenty of action with a darker shade of thrills, definitely come take a bite out of the Wendigo’s forces with The Divided Man Book Two!
