N Alessandro Penington takes us on a whirlwind adventure filled with suspense, dark magic, and fairytale classics with The Rose in the Glass Dome! A darkness has settled on the land in the form of a beast threatening to spread insanity. Now it falls to four adventurers to stave off the impending doom while protecting Rose. Penington has a really neat spin on the classic Beauty and the Beast tale, especially with how this one bleeds more heavily into the high fantasy genre! The characters were great, and I especially loved the way Penington masterfully wove a healthy dose of suspense into their journey (there were some really good breathtaking moments here)! If you love your dark fantasy more on the magical side or innovative twists when it comes to the classics, definitely come battle madness with The Rose in the Glass Dome!
