The first fantasy world I visited was Oz, after which I tried very hard to find my way over the rainbow. Alas, I never made it. Instead, I found solace in other fantasy worlds. Among my favorite authors are Ursula Le Guin, Madeline L’Engle, Peter Beagle, Lloyd Alexander, J. R. R. Tolkien, and, of course, J. K. Rowling.
The Abode is my debut book and the first in the Wingsong Trilogy. After spending many years as a freelance writer and editor, accepting any assignment that came my way, I finally realized that I needed to create a fantasy world of my own.
