Madness from the Sea Review

Madness from the Sea

Jonathon Cross

Jonathon Cross draws us into a tale of monsters and madness with the Lovecraft inspired Madness from the Sea!  Frances is being called by the dark entity Cthulu, a call that dooms her marriage and draws her into awakening the ancient terror.  But when Nyarlathotep, another dark god, offers her a deal, Frances finds herself in an epic cosmic battle that can either doom or save humanity and her soul.  Cross perfectly captures all the creepy cosmic horror laid down by the grandfather of all things spooky masterfully!  I loved following Frances’ descent into madness, and her fight to climb back out of that dark pit.  I really enjoyed Cross’ take on the constant scheming and battle between the Cthulu pantheon, and loved the world(s) travel and creatures that makes Lovecraftian lore so intriguing.  If you love Lovecraft, monsters, cosmic horror, or psychological thrillers, definitely put down your Necronomicon and pick up Madness from the Sea!
