David Allen Edmonds cooks up a wholesome smalltown romance with Unveiled Love: A Benton Center Romance! Kennedy Phillips has returned to her hometown as the campaign manager for a senator, with the side hope of proving herself to the town gossips and living up to her family name. When the campaign rents out half of a failing bookstore owned by Chris Lennox and his family, tensions (and sparks) will fly. Edmonds captures all the charm I could want from a cozy romance, but mixes in a healthy dose of intrigue with the election and small town dynamics that kept things interesting and the future of a budding couple uncertain! It was fun watching the potential couple clash and seeing their history that really fleshed them out as likeable and relatable people, but I also really enjoyed the cozy and lighthearted nature of this one (so many romances these days tend to stray into darker territory, so it was nice to have a fun and heartwarming one). If you’re looking for an uplifting romance with a great setting and fun characters, definitely book your trip to Benton Center with Unveiled Love!
