Hello, my name is Alex Anderson.
I am the author of the upcoming book, Tales from Sluce. It is an anthology in a science-fiction/fantasy universe I am building. It hasn’t been published yet but I’m looking to get it out before the year is out. I am a college student/pizza delivery driver who decided recently that I’m tired of waiting for the right time to write and to just go for it. Being an author has been my dream since I read my first book as a kid. I have several rough drafts up on my WordPress for my beta readers mainly. Nothing is quite to the final publication stage, but I am very close to having the first story of mine finished, edited, and even recorded for an audiobook version.

Crisis. The Elven Empire has been ruled by the Thirteen Great Elven Houses since fleeing their home world. The richest and most powerful of which is House Hashimoto. The Great Exodus started thousands of years ago, and is nearing competition. In that time the empire has grown and flourished, but now the empire is in crisis. Pirates are attacking the Last Exodus fleet. They are after an ancient artefact and will kill anyone who gets in their way.
After a decades-long detour through the entertainment industry. author P.I. Barrington has returned to her original career of fiction writing. Below is the short blurb of her current novel, The Brede Chronicles, Book One:
Half-human Alekzander Brede is a law unto himself…or so he thinks. Elektra Tate, the street orphan who loves him has other ideas.
Book Two is underway.
I have published 5 books, the latest ‘CALLING EARTH’ is a fictional story wrapped around well-researched facts. SUPERPOWERS FIGHT FOR DOMINION OVER PLANET EARTH This is a compelling and exciting new novel which underscores the necessity of spiritual growth and awareness to save the human race. It involves awakening into the bigger picture and clearly indicates that we need to take responsibility for ourselves and for our home planet. You will be riveted by the notion that the events in the story are based on facts. This book reveals details of secret agendas and cosmic planet raiders for a takeover of Earth. Will we be allowed to join our galactic family, or will we destroy our home planet? Kate and her father are in danger from secret powers as they try to alert the public.
Although a science-fiction thriller, it has a much deeper message. Shirley Battie may have put the cat among the pigeons regarding our knowledge of what goes on in space and within governments. It asks us to consider that we are not alone in the Universe, but that of world species would love to live on our beautiful planet too. Perhaps it is this, which will ultimately bring us to our senses and ensure that we protect Mother Earth, for our own sakes.
Unafraid to delve into subjects other authors would happily pass up, Sean Benham’s work trends towards the bizarre while remaining deeply personal. He has a knack for creating alternate worlds that mirror our own in the most unfortunate ways, as well as the memorable characters that inhabit them. His work is grim but hopeful, thought-provoking and funny. It’s usually a little bit gross, too. When he’s not writing, Sean Benham is an entertainment industry professional who has worked as an art director, graphic animator, writer and producer on everything from Emmy award-winning children’s television programming to heavy metal music videos. He lives with his wife in Toronto.
I’ve been writing for years, before I even had any dreams of somehow publishing books. I probably have more ideas than I can ever put to paper (I calculated, it would take longer than my lifetime). I love writing science fiction, fantasy, light-hearted mysteries, and sometimes things that are a little of each. I have parallel dimensions (In Dreams), dark forests permeated by magical creatures and a world where death isn’t an immediate end (Grace), and “fake” magicians just hiding in plain sight (Cameras Tell No Lies). The stories and their characters are usually a little bit weird, a little bit dark, and a little bit hopeful, and anyone who can relate to that probably will find a kindred spirit somewhere in those pages.
Jesse works in the IT field along the Wasatch Mountains. When he’s not fiddling with systems and computers, he can be found reading or writing. Jesse is also a musician and composer.

Alpha 9 – In order to defend the world against an impending alien invasion, global government agencies created soldiers, clones made to be stronger, faster and loyal to the cause. Is Alpha 9 the leader the resistance needs or will the secrets of humanity’s past lead them all to their ultimate destruction?
About me – I love writing sci-fi and fantasy while I await an adequate plan for world domination.
Ian S. Bott
I am a science fiction author who avoided all forms of creative writing until rather late in life, when the writing bug finally caught me napping. In hindsight this should not have been a surprise; trained as a software developer, the switch from business requirement documents to speculative fiction was only a small step. I live in beautiful British Columbia with my wife, two children, and an assorted collection of pets.
Descendants of H.G. Wells & Leonardo Da Vinci build a Time Machine based on their famous ancestors’ works. Rather than go through history eliminating evil dictators they decide they’d rather make love to the sexiest women in history instead. However, they get more than they bargained for as they get caught up in some of the most famous conspiracies of the last 3,000 years from Cleopatra to Elizabeth 1st and beyond, with Marilyn Monroe, Bridget Bardot, Jane Fonda, Princess Diana, The Kennedy’s and many more household names front and centre of some very interesting storylines. It also features a very poignant love story between Marilyn & Frank Sinatra as a core story.
The novel features lots of thrills and twists plus the author’s trade mark tasteful ultra-erotic element. Although not a comedy story it has more funny moments in just one chapter than most comedy feature films, such as when Marilyn is kidnapped through time to this Century and even struggles to get a job as an M.M look-alike! The book is full of water-cooler moments that will leave you on a high with a smile on your face.
If you are already a fan of any of the characters mentioned you’ll love this book but always remember this is Science Fiction and although some things may seem familiar they are not always as they seem. History will never be the same again!
Stephen Hawking’s warning that humanity should never respond to alien communication has gone unheeded for too long, and now the human led United Planetary Coalition is faced with a seemingly insurmountable threat from a brutal and merciless race known as the Jaari. With mounting casualties and obliterated colonies, the desperate UPC turns to conscripting prison convicts into active military service, with promises that these men and women will be turned into the next generation of super soldiers—the Avatars. This includes disgraced starship Captain Joaquin Lafontaine, who sees this opportunity as a means to redeem himself. However, the program is shrouded in mystery. Joaquin will discover the Avatar program’s true nature, and will struggle not only to defeat the Jaari against all odds, but to also retain his humanity—and perhaps his very soul.
A J Britnell
Andrea J Britnell is an independent author living in West Sussex, England. As a reader, Andrea has a broad taste in literature but when she came to write her debut novel, her love of science fiction and real science led to the creation of EVAC Ignition. “EVAC Ignition is a near future, fast paced, space adventure, exploring the impact of our commercial ventures as we finally colonize the Moon and beyond. I’m always fascinated by the little things in a sci-fi film or documentary, the down to earth, gritty bits of space life the really tell the story. I hope I’m around when the first tourists take a trip to the stars, maybe I’ll even get a chance to see the Earth from space.”

In addition, he is an autism ambassador, hoping to demonstrate the potential benefits one can gain from being autistic. As a writer, Grady P. Also, he has a very strong memory, allowing him to store information about his characters and stories in his brain as though it were a computer hard-drive. He is also a passionate pit bull lover and owns a pair of sweet and loving pit bull named Wally and Fitch.

STRAIN OF RESISTANCE
Bixby was 12 years old when the world ended. A mysterious mist had blanketed the earth, turning most of the world’s population into blood-thirsty predators. The remaining survivors were the prey. Demoted to the bottom of the food chain.
Now, eight brutal years later, these survivors face another challenge-a new threat is turning the tide of war between humans and infected. The parasite is evolving, becoming smarter, stronger, and deadlier.
In a race against time, Bixby and her crew battle to stop the decimation of the human race at the hands of these new mutations.
They are the last strain of resistance.
John David Buchanan
I have a lot of hobbies – playing guitar and drums, cooking, inventing, and most recently writing science fiction. After 36 years in the environmental business I decided it was time to ease out of writing technical reports and starting writing science fiction for fun. I was going to write one book – Jump Starting the Universe. It has turned into three books, the second being The Edge of Nothing and Everything, and the third – World Eaters (in-progress and hopefully will be published in June 2017).
I have an overactive imagination and believing in the “let no story go unwritten” I’m writing a thriller titled The Obsession of Mr. Pendergrass . I’ve posted short chapters on my website –
www.jumpstartingtheuniverse.com – and on Goodreads. Ultimately, the serially released chapters will be expended and published as a full novel. Check out my author page on Facebook- John David Buchanan – and twitter @JDBuchanan. Did I mention the epic poem I’m writing? The Rune of One – to be published in the distant and unforeseeable future.
William D. Burt
William D. Burt’s 7-title fantasy series for pre-teens, teens and young adults especially appeals to C.S. Lewis and Tolkien fans. When Rolin son of Gannon sets out to solve this riddle, his adventures take him worlds beyond the walls of his little log cabin in the mountains. With the help of some fierce griffins and a long-lost prophecy, Rolin and his friends battle batwolves, a dragon and other mythological creatures as they embark upon a perilous quest for the fabled Isle of Luralin and the Tree of Life.
In 2017, William Burt’s publishing company, Creation Way Books, released The Lake Lights. This title is also available on Burt’s website. A synopsis follows. “What are the mysterious lights flitting above Oswego Lake on moonlit nights? Marsh gas? Ball lightning? Or holdovers from the dawn of Creation? When Jonathan Oliver tries to track down the source of the lights, his search leads him to Iron Mountain’s abandoned Prosser Mine. After his physicist father goes missing in Afghanistan, Jon is left to decode a cryptic message leading to yet more mysteries and a remarkable, game-changing invention. With his grandfather’s help, Jon matches wits with an unscrupulous scientist who will stop at nothing to steal the device and sell it to a shadowy criminal organization. Jon’s dual discoveries not only help him to deliver his city from total annihilation but also ultimately rock the scientific world to its very foundations.”
I am a science fiction, urban fantasy, and horror author who likes to write action packed stories. My favorite authors are Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, and Isaac Asimov. Eugene W. Cundiff
Born into the foggy foothills of the Appalachian mountains, Eugene W. Cundiff was immersed in a culture of storytelling from an early age. He draws inspiration from the folklore of the Appalachian region, world mythology, and the pulp science-fiction and fantasy works of his youth. His debut novel, “Songs of Earth: A Teller’s Tale” is a space-western yarn drawing from the cultural history and struggles of his native Appalachia, both past and present.
Malik Soules has never seen such an amazing sight. There lay the city of Imperia: gutted, destroyed, cracked with broken windows, every skyscraper went slanted within this deep underground cavern. What happened to this place so long ago? He accidentally stumbles upon a machine called REQUIEM. By mistake, it sends him into a strange new world: where futuristic technology rules and sheer terror fills the hearts of ordinary citizens. He can’t seem to escape this nightmarish dream! (Revised Second Edition 03/31/2018: includes Part I and Part II) ***Side note: Original First Edition included only Part I prior to 03/31/2018***
What is Planet Lazy? None of the scientists have heard of it, and there’s no record of it ever existing. Yet people swear that they’ve been there. One day, they vanished from Earth and wound up in a place where everything was free, and they didn’t have to, you know, do anything. Join the fat, socially awkward, will-probably-die-a-virgin Karturian as he navigates our strange universe of starving giants, nit-picky zombies, talking cats, a whole planet of women who have never seen a man before, and much much more on his voyage to the mythical Planet Lazy. – What is the answer to 7 + 7 ÷ 7 + 7 x 7 – 7 = ? – How do you hide cigarette smoke from your parents? – Does Cheese Whiz go better with pancakes or waffles? – What are cats really thinking? – How do you become the richest being in the universe by doing half of the work most people do and utilizing Facebook likes? – What do you do if you’re out in space and really have to use the bathroom? …just a few of life’s more pertinent questions that Karturian hopes to answer on his journey.
This is not your average science fiction story. Planet Lazy is a satire of the 2010s that takes place in the future. It has flying saucers, space gizmos, aliens, and all that good stuff, but really it’s a mirror reflection of the absurd world we live in today. Eating disorders, low birthrates, cell cryopreservation, patriarchal and matriarchal societies, intercultural relationships, global warming, unethical technological and medical advancements, volunteering in impoverished nations, free-range farming, the robot apocalypse, lazy entrepreneurship, everyone’s obsession with cats, Karturian encouters it all in his adventures! With a dry sense of humor and a pinch of the surreal, Kilgore Trout (Kurt Vonnegut) and Douglas Adams fans will find this a very fun read! Each chapter is its own mini-adventure complete with plenty of surprises and weirdness. Gulliver’s Travels in space!

What if the Bible was a con devised by none other than Lucifer himself? What if The Rapture came, and it was a trick? In E.C. Fisher’s biblical thriller The Deceived, it is the devil who is behind religion, and everyone from Adam and Eve on up are in the thrall of his lies. But as the End of Days play out of Earth—a ploy designed by Lucifer to give the world to his followers—archangel Michael is sent down to earth from heaven, where he must battle the devil in order to save God’s children—not to mention the planet itself.
As God lays dying in heaven, and Lucifer kidnaps Michael’s soulmate, Ari-el—Michael must face not only the potential of demons overtaking earth, but the loss of both his father and one true love. Armed with the Sword of the Spirit, which was forged from God’s own powerful wings, Michael sets to destroy the Antichrist, and thereby bring an end to the deadly masquerade that is Lucifer’s religion.
Written with the verve of a contemporary adventure fantasy and the deep, complex knowledge and understanding of a religious thriller, The Deceived is a harrowing tale that reflects the rifts and tensions of our modern political moment. This is the story of Revelations that you do not know, but that you will not be able to put down.

I’m a stay at home dad and science fiction/fantasy/horror writer. My contemporary fantasy novel, ‘Legend and Lore: In Human Skin’, is the first in a trilogy about a company called ‘Lore’, which sells mythological creatures to the elite. It’s told from the point of view of damaged young recruit Lincoln Sayer, and follows his discovery of the company’s darkest secrets. As a writer I love to walk the line between fear and wonder- something I think Stephen King does especially well.

Tau Ceti: A Ship from Earth
The colony ships took sixteen years to travel the twelve light years between Earth and Tau Ceti. Tau Ceti 2, known as Pitcairn, was easily the most successful of the original three colonies, a stable peaceful world for two hundred years, yet isolated more than any other group in history. Supply ships came every twenty years or so, bringing cargo not available on the planet and new colonists, but not disturbing the tranquil colony. But change, for better or worse, was coming. It began with the arrival of the library ship Asimov in the year 2322.
First in the Tau Ceti trilogy. Tau Ceti: The New Colonists and Tau Ceti: The Immortality Conspiracy complete the trilogy and a novella, Voyage of the Capek, continues in the same fictional universe.

I’ve had two novels of supernatural fiction published, ‘The Wannabes’ and ‘Hell’s Secrets’, both of which are available on Amazon. I have various other projects on the go, in particular a huge story it will take me at least a trilogy to write, and which – as you might imagine – if taking up a huge amount of my time and energy right now.
‘The Wannabes’ is freshly published in a Kindle version this year, and will be joined by numerous short stories. The first of which – ‘Foliage’ – is already published, and sits right on the crossing point of my interests in science fiction and horror.

THE HALCYON DISLOCATION is a Science Fiction colonization epic about an island university that is dislocated to a new world through a force field experiment that goes awry (or was it an accident?). We follow the students and staff as they try to live in this new world, as they discover its secrets, and as they work to get home. Here is what some readers and reviewers have said:
“If you enjoy Tolkien, Lewis and other good fantasy, this is a book you ought to check out.”
“It’s an adventure; one that progresses on the weighty consequences of moral choices made without regard to morality.”
“The plot continues to develop an interesting intermix of science and fantasy.”

A dystopian novel set in a parallel universe which split from our own timeline in the aftermath of the Second World War. I write Science Fiction about what might be. Psionics, aliens and other worlds, awareness and ongoing communication between the living and the dead, and how that might affect the life and philosophy of a world.
I’m a psychologist and a medium. After years of seeing the dead portrayed in countless fatuous ways, I decided it was time for someone to show them in a manner some might consider more truthful. That is, the personality survives the change we call death, and moves on into other dimensions.
My award winning novel, Dancing With The Dead, http://mybook.to/dancingwithdead
explores the themes —what is truth, the power of love–and will challenge your perception of death, life after death and the quest for truth that continues after the change called death

Book #1 in the “Time Will Tell” series only 99¢ Sean knows there’s something “different” about the new girl in school — Alexis Townsend — but before he can figure out what, his world is turned upside down by the arrival of a distant relative. Distant, as in, his great-great-great-great-great-grandson. Life in 1995 seems pretty primitive to the time-traveler from the 23rd Century, but he tries hard to fit in with some help from his ancestor. Einstein’s Theory didn’t cover THIS relativity.

As an avid reader, writer, listener, and designer, Erin’s lifelong quest has been to explore past the boundaries of conventional thinking and figure out what really has transpired on this planet. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and the British Isles, and ventured into the ancient sites of Egypt, Bali, Java, Peru, Bolivia, and Mexico. Currently living in colorful Colorado, Aurora is working hard at getting all of her ideas out to the public. With the aid of music, reading, some art, and friends, she’s going to get this done. Yes, there are many genres she plans to be under, but that’s because those stories are still in the writing process, along with every other story that needs work. Happy reading!!

I’ve been writing seriously since I was 15 and publishing my own work since 2012. I started with ‘zines and the moved on to do a pulp fiction action adventure crime novel series called The Bartender. The books take the titular character and explore a world of genres. I have another series called Lazlo, which follows the exploits of globe trotting super operative Lazlo. I’ve finally built a body of work that I feel comfortable presenting to the world so check it out!

Absence of Blade is the start of a new space opera series set against a backdrop of interstellar strife. On a contested world, a hegemonic human empire is set to crush an alien colony. An assassin, a spy, and a scientist will have to summon the last of their resolve to resist the Terran Expansion.
Whether they succeed depends on what they can withstand.
I have 12 ebooks that run into the future. Two very near the present (Puppeteer and ‘Bot War) are more technothriller than scifi, while those from “Red Gold” onwards are scifi, although they add something else in terms of what we might care to avoid in the future. “Troubles” lies somewhere in between – it is set at a time when society is emerging from a massive economic collapse due to government debt and energy shortages thanks to previous terrorism (in ‘Bot War). Just to be more confusing, “Athene’s Prophecy” and “Legatus Legionis” involve a reboot to the first century, and almost qualify as historical. The scifi qualifies as hard (but hopefully not difficult).
Rain Man meets Forrest Gump in this epic tale of the adventures of Jimmy Darwin, recounted by Jimmy himself.
He has a savant ability that could save the lives of millions of people, but Jimmy Darwin has been written off as “mentally challenged” and beaten up his entire life. He’s not a big fan of people. In fact, if everyone would just leave him alone, he’d be happy living in a tent next to a nice, quiet pond. The little survivalist could hold the key to a better understanding of our world. But is the world ready? It’s up to Jimmy to decide.
I am a 16-year veteran in the US Army. I’m an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officer. I began writing during my second deployment after seeing so many stories that were derivatives of other stories. I decided I should try and do something different. My first book series, Bystanders, is about a city with a growing superhero population. The main hero’s identity isn’t known by the characters nor the readers. The story is told from the perspective of the various “innocent” bystanders, including cops, paramedics, surgeons, media, drug dealers, mob bosses, and fanboys. I’m a father of three and a husband of 12 years. My other hobbies include movies, video games, and adrenaline-inducing activities such as roller coasters and skydiving.

He is the author of the novellas THE SAVAGE CAGED and WINGS OF MERCURY. In his spare time, when not out hiking in the mountains or on the lakes & rivers, he attempts to get an hour or two of sleep.

How much havoc could one upstart young Upworlder create? Thirty years after her exile from her homeworld, Nara was growing weary of the monotony of mercenary life: Do job for Company A, anger Company B, survive the inevitable retaliation. Repeat ad nauseam. Most importantly, try hard not to piss off Galavantier Corp again. Evading the reach of the ubiquitous Biotech enterprise in the shadows of the Undercity was easy enough. That is, until the unconscious body of the CEO’s heir lands at her feet. Both ignorant of their mutual vendetta, the brazen noble offered a proposal: help him escape Uppercity, and he’d buy every tool of destruction her heart desired. But it was the danger that tempted Nara, not money. As their business relationship evolves into a tenuous camaraderie, Nara is thrown into the jaws of her most ruthless adversary. She must now decide what to do with her strange bedfellow–and hope to survive the aftermath.

I’m a Scottish-born comedy writer living in Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve long been a proponent of the intelligently silly, taking great inspiration from the likes of Monty Python, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and the occasional fart joke. Smack-dab is my debut novel, featuring bandits, random limb explosions, and a healthy dose of tax. Think of it like “Terry Pratchett meets Fallout, but not as good as either”…
My name is Alexander Pink and the first book of the series is Bennu Strand: The World inside Book One. The Bennu Bird is the progenitor of the mythological Phoenix and a key element in the Kemetic Story of Creation. One of the components I explore is the idea humanity, in ages long past, may have attained heights of technological achievement that was lost to cataclysm and evidence concealed by the hands of time. I guarantee avid readers of sci-fi/fantasy will find a unique and original work with concepts rarely found in the Science Fiction/Fantasy genre, if at all. While the majority of science fiction which tends to have limits with writers adhering to long-held, commonplace sci-fi elements, my story explores alternative scientific theories and social concepts based on an ancient mythology recently rediscovered and currently being explored by society.
I am a writer and reader, a dreamer and a hard-working postdoc in Sciences that recovered her passion for writing after her first thesis draft and now struggles to make up for lost time. From futuristic worlds to mainstream, to nightmares and epic quests, I’m a writer of more than one genre. I don’t believe in being classified. Don’t expect the same type of book over and over again. I’m a multipotentialite that loves exploring all subjects and forms. My first book is a middle-grade story called Water Thieves, self-published in collaboration with the science research project SAFER. It’s a time-traveling story, where two sisters, Valentina and Emma, fight to save each other and stop the pollution that caused their parents death.
Kate Rauner writes science fiction novels and science-inspired poetry. She’s also a retired engineer and Cold War Warrior (honestly, Congress said so) from years in America’s nuclear weapons complex. Much to her surprise, she’s now a volunteer firefighter on the edge of New Mexico’s Gila National Forest and well on her way to becoming an eccentric old woman.
Would you join a near-future colony on Mars? Emma may regret her one-way trip with the first twelve settlers – an eclectic group of volunteers. She hopes to explore the Red Planet in her robotic walkabout suit, but something’s gone terribly wrong in the colony. Friends die and the team is falling apart. They came to build a home, but can they even survive? Glory on Mars – first book in the On Mars series.
Not long ago, a new species of humans with a unique set of cells called variants were born into this world. Now, they suffer many challenges such as fitting into society and obtaining work.
Meg and Jamie are variants and after receiving a job at an abnormal hotel with a recently deceased manager, their lives get even more difficult. The supervisor is unlike any variant they’ve ever met. Secrets are being kept from them, while criminals are being drawn to them.
Nothing makes sense to them as they are currently trapped within the confines of Claude’s Hotel.

After leaving the Air Force in 1967, I decided to hitchhike to Brazil. I got no farther than Mexico City, where I learned the hard way about attractive philosophy majors. After she took me for the pittance I had, I began to look for work. First teaching English and writing record reviews for local magazines, then taking up a camera, I ended up staying 10 years. When I had had enough I moved to San Francisco, working in travel, corporate, and PR photography. The next time I had had enough I moved to Boise, Idaho. Still doing photography, I decided to jot down the ideas I had for a novel. After 15 years, I had had enough again and I published it (Last Communion).
Charlie Hong is on the run from both sides of the law. He’s spent the last year in hiding, cultivating one last hair-brained scheme to escape his troubles: a clandestine marijuana operation. Just as he’s about to cash in, his cash crop is stolen by a bright light appearing in the night sky. After catching a ride with one of his plants, he finds himself thrown into a world far stranger than anything he could have possibly imagined. Does the stoned stowaway have what it takes to free the Starseed, a massive living spaceship overflowing with bizarre life forms, from the clutches of a mysterious force field trapping it in Earth’s orbit? More importantly, before he decides anything, does he have time to light one up?
Quoleena Sbrocca (pronounced Kwo-LEE-nuh Su-BROH-kuh) is the author of two alternate history/time travel novels, and a young adult futuristic/sci-fi series. She is currently working on the final book in the trilogy. She is a Denver native, lover of photography, training for her second-degree black belt in taekwondo, and dreams of one day owning a horse. She is afraid of heights, but if she were an animal, she would be an eagle. Luminescence, book one of her YA sci-fi series The Rayne Trilogy, is a B.R.A.G. Medallion honoree and earned a Readers’ Favorite 5-star review. Quoleena has loved creative writing since she was a child. In 3rd grade, she won a scholastic award for her illustrated short story called, “Little Girl Lost.” She wrote poetry and short stories during her guitar-playing college days in San Diego, all of which she keeps buried in a box of memories. Her favorite books to read tend to be in the days of horse-drawn carriages and noble courts. And she absolutely loves books set in worlds void of technology and unlike our own, with swords and magic and mystical creatures.
I’m a rocket scientist and aspiring science fiction author. My first novel is hard sci-fi and features interplanetary space travel, asteroid mining, manned Mars missions, and first contact with highly advanced aliens.
Pamela Schloesser Canepa
As a child, Pamela’s family moved around a lot, so she started writing poems and stories as a child to provide entertainment for long trips. After a while, her family settled in the southeast. Writing provided an outlet for private thoughts and emotions for years, until she decided she was ready to share her ideas with the world. Pamela’s genres include sci-fi and speculative fiction, and poetry of all types. “Made for Me” is Pamela’s first published work of fiction and was followed by a sequel in 2016. Both are now also available in print. Pamela’s first full-length time travel novel, Detours in Time, has been published in e-book and print as of June 2017! Pamela is planning a sequel to Detours in Time and an origin story for Norrie from Made for Me, as well as a few other ideas. Stay tuned!

The Solar Empire spans more than fifty galaxies and a hundred thousand years of history. Its military, economic, and industrial power can shape or destroy entire civilizations even beyond its own borders. Those who have seen its influence firsthand call these political tides the Solar Winds. But in the Hourglass Galaxy resides a nation that stands against the wind, the Interstellar Combine. Now these two intergalactic superpowers are embroiled in a cold war for dominance of the region. Simmonne, the carefree daughter of the Solar Emperor, is tasked with a public relations mission to welcome refugees fleeing Combine occupation. The enigmatic Robert Panzer, a metapsion of enormous telepathic and telekinetic abilities, is assigned as her protector. Frustrated by her inability to perceive his emotions, Simmonne is unaware that she might require protection from him most of all. Within the Hourglass, newly minted Lieutenant Jonathan Clearwater balances his role as an officer of the Solar Legionnaires and his fraying family life. Meanwhile Oul’sor, a Warlord of the Combine, is resurrected to seek vengeance for the death of his son at Panzer’s hands. And near the center of power, Simmonne’s weak-willed and jaded brother Steven is tempted to corruption by the power of the Encephalon. The characters must work together – or against one another – as the cold war between intergalactic superpowers threatens to turn hot, all under the eye of an entity older than the universe itself. If they fail, the Encephalon’s power will consume far more than the trillions of lives in the Hourglass Galaxy.
Born in 1991, I have always found history fascinating. Growing up, the idea of “other worlds” and “paranormal creatures” have also gained my interest. Using both of these together, along with politics and psychology, I have created the first of a 4-book series named The Grate. The Grate is about life after WWIII, when the USA chooses to create a new capital. Inside of the Grate, life is far far from perfect, as they wage war on their own citizens, and even conducting scientific experimentation on the Mentally Ill. When the main character, Sarah, finds herself in the hospital after a terror attack, she recalls her moments leading to her stay. When she begins having paranormal encounters, she is taken to the Mental Hospital, Ward Seven. There she must work hard to break free. But how can she escape when those meant to protect her are now out to kill her?
I truly hope that this book will make people think about perspective, and how we can work together to create societal norms and help each other grow in compassion. Currently this book, which is the first of the series, is Edition 1, although I do know that another Edition will be required so that I may feel satisfied with it. I hope that you enjoy it also. (By the way, if you have the Kindle Unlimited, it is absolutely free to read for you)!
Paris Singer was born in Brussels, Belgium. He has lived in the U.K. and in various places in Spain, where he currently resides. He has far too many interests, he’s told, a few of which being sports, playing his old guitar, learning Japanese, painting, reading and cooking. Not a day goes by, however, where he doesn’t write something, be it under a palm tree or on a bench at a bus stop somewhere. I’ve two books released: The Sky Drifter (Science Fantasy), and The Skull Collector (Dark Fantasy), both of which you’ll find on the site.
The Sky Drifter: A dark secret lurks aboard the Sky Drifter… Seven is a popular student, gifted in strategy and the brutal sport of Sphere. Wandering the vastness of space, his home is the Sky Drifter: an academy for the best students in the universe. With his friends, Iris and Pi, Seven takes on rivals and visits planets for exploration and competition. Everything is the way Seven likes it, until he sees a mysterious girl who reveals a secret that brings everything he thought he knew crashing down around him. A secret that will rip him from his reality into a dark new world. Will Seven be able to escape the Sky Drifter before it’s too late?
The Skull Collector: How far would you go to get your parents back? In a world in which children are exploited, monsters are saviors, and dark magic is constantly at play, a little girl will go to any lengths to be reunited with her lost ones. After the disappearance of her parents, a heartbroken child is sold to the Doll-Maker who promises to revive them. In return, she is to travel from cemetery to cemetery, unearthing graves and collecting skulls. While doing so, she must avoid the Violinist and his crows, who are determined to steal the skulls she has painstakingly gathered. As she travels across the province, with her life in constant peril from vengeful policemen to strange creatures, the little girl must use her wits to succeed in her macabre mission.

See how good it can get: Perfect Timing, a romp of a book plus a powerful way to improve our lot (a Citizen’s Dividend). It’s like Callenbach’s classic, Ecotopia, but comedic with surprising twists. (BTW, Ernest C. edited my nonfiction work, may he RIP). Perfect Timing conveys the tone of Hitchhiker’s Guide, offers insights like Stranger in a Strange Land, and presents an upbeat alternative, unlike Brave New World. Caterer Crik Duvall is bewildered. In the city he thought he knew, suddenly buildings grow, people incorporate animal powers, smart phones know it all, and vehicles defy gravity. He’s been accidentally transported to a future where he’s unwanted. To keep their past intact, the future’s authorities must return Crik to the moment he left, a moment when he was dodging gunfire. That is, unless he can show he was vital to progress. With his cat-woman guide, Tepper — could she be his distant descendant? — the duo dash around to suss out what makes Geotopia work so well for people and planet. Vigilante Voltak, protector of the status quo, pursues them to return the “Pastian” runaway before his allotted 24 hours are up. If by then Crik can prove he’s their Founder, he’ll be a celebrity in his new time.

I write mostly SFF. And I’m very prolific. Please check my series pages (Silvery Earth or Star Minds) and if you’d like to try one of the books, I’d suggest you pick from the newest releases (they appear on the landing page, but you can scroll down on the “Books” page).
Eliza Taye has always had an insatiable desire for stories of any kind, whether they be books, audiobooks, video games, films, or plays. If it has a story element to it, she enjoys it. After obtaining a marine science degree, she became inspired to write sci-fi in addition to the fantasy stories she wrote growing up. Currently she writes sci-fi, fantasy, and action adventure novels for young adults.

Mike Waller is a writer of Science Fiction and Space Opera genres. His stories focus less on the science and more on the action and adventure in the distant future. Mike is a great believer that one day humanity will outgrow it’s childhood and reach for the stars, and loves to explore the possibilities of where that journey will take us. His current books, the ‘Echo’s Way’ series, tell the story of a young heroine who finds herself thrown into conflicts beyond her control, in a galaxy wracked by war and uncertainty, having to rely on her own innate abilities to find her way through to the future that remains always just beyond her reach.

“Through Button Eyes” is a multi-genre compilation of fifteen previously unpublished short stories that will most assuredly take readers on a thrilling emotional roller-coaster ride of excitement, fear, laughter and tears. The stories range from tender coming of age to sci-fi adventure; romantic moments to brutal murder; magical fantasy to family tragedy… and one humorous zombie. This exciting anthology embraces a spectrum of genres where the seven authors skillfully integrated one seemingly innocuous plot point into every story, a button! (Genre Blends: Science-Fiction, Thriller, Dystopia, Fantasy, Horror-Comedy, Speculative-Fiction, Swashbuckler, Action/Adventure, Tragedy, Literary Fiction, Romantic Suspense, Memoir, Coming of Age, LGBT). “Through Button Eyes” was selected from thousands of national and international entries as one of the five medal finalists in the Anthology Division of the 2017 Next Generation Indie Book Awards (NGIBA). Authors: Patrick Witz, Annemarie Olsen, David Loofbourrow, Davin L. Kent, Jane Haworth, Evelina Dunn, Kathleen Coleman
Patrick Witz has from his youth always been fascinated with science, strange discoveries, technology, earth and other worldly places presented in National Geographic and Popular Mechanics. He is a steadfast believer that knowledge and imagination are a powerful combination and readily admits he will forever be a student of the arts, be it creative writing, photograph, or any other artistic interest or endeavor. In his writing, Patrick likes to blend genres and his eclectic nature leads him into a labyrinth of fictional paths. Patrick’s writing goal is to bring his written words to life in reader’s minds… therein to strum emotional cords; sculpt intriguing characters; create captivating dialogue; and paint intricate colorful settings. One can say Patrick’s diversity is the spice of his writing – sometimes sweet, every now and again bitter, often mixed with a sprinkle of humor, a pinch of peculiar flavor, and finished off with an unsuspecting or emotional twist.
Mjke Wood is a past winner of both the Jim Baen Writing Contest and Writers of the Future, and has over two dozen published short stories to his name.

In ‘Deep Space Accountant’ we meet Elton D Philpotts, whose dream job with the Space Corps is nothing like the glamorous, planet-hopping lifestyle he expected.

A frantic race across the Sphere of Influence takes Elton into adventure and dangers he could never have imagined. And now there’s a whole planet to save.
Chris G. Wright
Chris G. Wright was born in Corfu, Greece in 1988, to a Greek father and Northern Irish mother. From a young age, his imagination was fed by science fiction movies and his father’s storytelling, and his love for books came from his mother’s abundance of fiction. He studied Marketing , though his dream was to become an Air Force pilot. At some point, he even became a mixologist. Fantasy author R.A. Salvatore inspired him to become a writer when he picked up Homeland, the Dark Elf Trilogy at the age of 13. Chris dedicated his debut novel to Salvatore 15 years later. However, as writing had been a hobby for over fifteen years, family and friends persuaded him to try his luck with self-publishing a draft of 400 pages. Since February 2016, the draft gradually became The Alliance, Volume 1 of The Evox Chronicles. He now lives in Bath, England with his partner, enjoying a simple life. His real dream is to live to see the world become a better place.
