Margaret Craig

I am a retired teacher/administrator who is now able to pursue her dream of writing a work of fiction worthy of being read for enjoyment. I have currently completed my first novel, DEATH BY STUPIDITY, available at Smashwords.com and Amazon.com in both eBook and paperback. In short it’s about three guys, three deaths, and the cop that is in pursuit. I am so excited and proud to have actually accomplished this feat. My hope is that it will sell and the people who bought it will feel they entertained. I am now writing a second book called TEACHER ONCE REMOVED that I hope will be complete by the end of March. It is succinctly about a first year teacher a student has targeted to abuse.

I’m both a writer and playwright. I love the art of storytelling. Be it love and despair; or hate and violence! Having read hundreds of novels from such greats as Stephen King, James Herbert, James Patterson I’ve always loved a good character driven thriller and I have learned much. From the dramatic exchange of characters to dark and twisted circumstances they find themselves in. Endings are very important to me too! I’ll never rush an ending as I thrive on taking people on a satisfying journey they’ll remember, over and over again! I’m a reader, just like you and I relish in the satisfaction of a good story. I hope you enjoy my work.

When I turned 50, two years ago, I wanted to do something crazy. Since I did a lot of dog rescue, I thought I would write a short story about that. It’s true everyone has a story to tell! I now have two series. One is a middle-grade fantasy about a young girl who pet-sits magical animals. I am currently working on the third book in an adult crime thriller, with a young woman who turns vigilante against animal abusers.

However, in DCI Stella Johnson he meets his match in this classic tale of cat and mouse.
